“Though my fall semester of sophomore year isn’t what I expected, I’ve genuinely been enjoying the last few months at UIUC and taking advantage of the opportunities here. This month marks one year that I’ve interned for the UIUC Treasury Operations Office, which has been an amazing experience so far and has led me to pursue Finance and Information Systems. I also am continuing my involvement in my professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, on the historian committee and am hoping to earn a position in Women in Finance Academy. In addition, I am a member of my social sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma, which has made this semester much more exciting. This semester, I also joined Enactus, a social entrepreneurship club, where I am currently working on a few projects that aim to help the community. I can’t thank my mentor enough for everything she has done for me and HEAR for being a great support system throughout this crazy time!”
